Model United Nations
STVM's Model United Nations team provides an opportunity for students to participate in debate regarding foreign affairs.
Are you interested in debate and the opportunity to learn about other nations while traveling the world? Do you have a good academic background, are you confident and do you like being in the spotlight? Here are some of the qualities we look for in a delegate: assertiveness, the ability to speak your mind, and you are not shy when meeting new people or speaking in public.
If so, you should consider trying out for the nationally ranked St. Vincent-St. Mary Model United Nations Team. Model United Nations provides students with amazing opportunities to travel, meet new people, and develop skills that last a lifetime! Remember MUN can help you get into college. Don't miss your opportunity to be a part of the team!
STVM's Model United Nations team provides an opportunity for students to participate in debate regarding foreign affairs. It also allows students to join an intellectually driven and welcoming community within our school. Since its inception in 2010, the team has grown to become a close-knit and skilled group of delegates. We compete in local conferences hosted by the Cleveland Council on World Affairs that are attended by high schools from across Northeast Ohio. In addition to local conferences, we compete in multiple conferences throughout the East Coast that are attended by schools from throughout the world. We teach and value our leadership, love, and passion for international relations.
We will also be attending the Ohio State Model United Nations Conference and defending our previous two Best Delegation championships.
