List Detail

8th Graders NOT Currently in Catholic School

This includes students from public, private, charter and home school.

Between the months of November and May STVM will consider applications for next year's freshman class. We encourage students to apply by January 10th, but we will accept applications through May 15th.

Please be sure to have the following documents on hand as you will need to upload them as part of our application process:
  • Most recent 8th grade report card
  • Final 7th grade report card
  • A copy of your child’s birth certificate or passport
  • Most recent state test scores (MAP, Ohio State Test, Iowa, etc.)
  • Most recent IEP, 504, or other accommodation plan (if applicable)
  • Most recent ETR (if applicable)
  • Highest High School Placement Test Score (if taken somewhere other than STVM)

Please note: If you currently have a child at STVM, our student information systems program, Blackbaud, should recognize your email address.  If you are new to STVM, you will create an account with Blackbaud.  Once the system approves your email and password, you may begin our application process.

Also, your child will complete some of the responses on the application so please make sure s/he is with you while completing this form.

When prompted, please include the email addresses of two of your child’s current 8th grade teachers.  The teachers will be sent an email asking them to complete an online recommendation form.  The teachers selected must be from these subject areas: English, reading, math, science, social studies or language (Spanish, French, etc.).

If you have not already registered your child for the High School Placement Test, you should do so.  Any applicant who would like to be considered for an academic scholarship and/or our Intervention program is required to take the High School Placement Test at STVM by November 18th. Students that do not want to be considered for a scholarship must still submit High School Placement Test scores with their admission application.  Test scores from a Spring administration of the Pre-High School Placement Test taken in 7th grade can also be considered.

Acceptance to STVM is based on your meeting our requirements after a review of your academic achievement and records. We look for students who are well-rounded; who are hard-working, leaders by example, and are motivated to receive a challenging and fulfilling Catholic high school education.

If you have any questions regarding our online admission application, please contact a member of our enrollment office at enrollment@stvm.com

Thank you for considering STVM!
