A note from our Director of Admissions:
I graduated from St. Vincent High School just a few years before the co-ed high school merged with St. Mary, the all-girls' Catholic high school that was located in downtown Akron. My high school years were enjoyable and I found that I was well-prepared to enter college and become a leader on campus.
I returned to my alma mater, no longer known as St. Vincent, but St. Vincent - St. Mary, in the summer of 2002 and have enjoyed every minute of my experience as Director of Admissions since then! I feel blessed and excited to come to work each day because I am surrounded by dedicated colleagues, respectful and hard working students, and supportive STVM parents! That doesn't happen by chance and receiving an excellent Catholic high school education doesn't happen by chance either. Hard work and dedication make STVM the award-winning school that it is.
Our teachers and staff are dedicated and our students continue to reach new heights each year as they achieve recognition and success in the classroom, on the field, and in our community.
Stop by and see us at St. Vincent-St. Mary! I can guarantee that you will be pleasantly surprised by the achievements our students have accomplished and the challenging education that is available to you when you become a member of our high school family.
Coming to work is as enjoyable as spending time with my own family. STVM is my home away from home and I wouldn't trade it for the world.
Come join us and see for yourself! We are expecting you!
Association of Catholic Admission Directors (ACAD)
Each year, the Association of Catholic Admission Directors (ACAD) joins together to create the "Faith Makes the Difference" Catholic High Schools Directory. St. Vincent-St. Mary is one of 19 schools in the Diocese of Cleveland who participates in the association. We hope this directory guides you in your Catholic High School selection process.
